“In the end, it all fits together: art, fashion, architecture, design - even shopping. It’s all theatre, really: a modern spectacle for a modern world.” Germano Celant

Zarina Liew
A short time ago I stumbled across some beautiful illustrations by Zarina Liew. The artist has since created whimsical interpretations of Bora Asku's A/W 2010 collection, making me even more excitable for his forthcoming LFW show.
Below is a short film entitled 'Believe' for the S/S 11 collection by ethical fashion label 'Beautiful Soul'. All the illustrations are created by Zarina and the film is simply enchanting..

Ohne Titel
Clothing designed by Alexa Adams and Flora Gill, two friends who met in New York City 1999 at Parson's School of Art and Design. After graduating they both reunited to work for Karl Lagerfeld in 2005, going onto found the Ohne Titel brand in 2006. With every season the hype behind this brand is escalating and rightly so, the pair always deliver.
The S/S 11 collection demonstrated intense colour blocking, sports luxe and a hella load of attitude.
NYFW
Hilary Alexander's interview with Anna Wintour.. she never ceases to amaze me.

Round Table Knights
Tensnake's Comma Cat has been one of the biggest house records this year and I never thought id appreciate a remix as much as the original. Low and behold Round Table Knights.. definite weekend anthem.
Tensnake - Coma Cat RTK Remix by Round Table Knights
Mowgli - Can't Stop Singing (Round Table Knights Remix) by Round Table Knights
Kimberly Ovitz
One of my favourites from the first few days at New York Fashion Week. The designers clean, sharp, geometric style and simple colour palette (she has always been a fan of monochrome) are great for Spring statement pieces. The ankle length draped trenches and white shirts perfect for the ever fashionable androgynous look.
"I was interested in the ways artists as varied as Sol LeWitt and Louise Nevelson used the form of the square to create order out of chaos," Ovitz explained at her presentation at MAC + Milk "It seemed like an interesting idea to apply that to clothes."

New York Fashion Week
A favourite with Florence Welch, Willow's new S/S 11 collection is full of digital prints, asymmetry and the harmonious fusion between tribal influences and sharp tailoring.

Louise Goldin
Recently announced winner of the Fashion Forward award. With previous holders of the prestigious accolade (Erdem, Richard Nicoll, Christopher Kane) demonstrating such strong, bespoke design aesthetic, Louise Goldin's status as the 'vanguard of knitwear design' is to be expected.
Her S/S 10 collection was praised as a great reflection of her knitwear reputation. Louise shows at London Fashion Week 21st September and no doubt the fashion world will be waiting with baited breath.
